What equipment is needed for a fish tank?

Aquarium Equipment Essentials:

The equipment needed for fish farming and aquariums includes the following:

1. Filter
Due to the metabolism of ornamental fish and aquatic plants, the water in an aquarium will gradually become contaminated and deteriorate. Installing a filter is a good way to prevent this.

2. Aerator
Aerators are commercially available and are designed specifically for aquariums. They continuously pump air into the water through a compressed tube. As the air passes through the water, the oxygen in the air dissolves, increasing the oxygen content. At the same time, the rising bubbles carry carbon dioxide from the water to the surface.

3. Lighting
Ornamental fish are generally kept outdoors or indoors in well-lit areas and do not require lighting. However, with the current practice of keeping ornamental fish in aquariums, lighting is essential. Firstly, it provides visual clarity. Under the illumination of the aquarium, the scenery inside is bright and clear, and the fish's coloring becomes more vibrant due to the reflection of light. Secondly, it provides supplemental light for aquariums that lack natural light, meeting the light needs of aquatic plants and fish. Furthermore, modern lighting is becoming increasingly colorful. Soft, multicolored lights can create a captivating aquarium experience, creating a truly captivating experience.

4. Heater
Since ornamental fish are mostly found in warmer climates, the ideal water temperature for their care is generally between 24-28°C, with a temperature fluctuation of no more than 2°C. If the aquarium water temperature does not reach the desired level, an electric heater should be used.

5. Thermometer
Two common types of thermometers are glass thermometers and electronic thermometers.

When purchasing a thermometer, consider your needs and financial situation, choosing one that is easy to read, has a clear display, and is easy to install and use.

6. Common Tools

These include various sizes of nets (fish nets), fish basins, weed clips, water pipes, moss removers, dechlorinators, magnetizers, feeders, and water storage containers.
